Screening

In Channel Fine Screens consist of units installed in concrete channels and that have fine openings (usually 1/4 inch or 6mm or less).

Aqua Guard® Self-Cleaning Moving Media Channel Screen

The Aqua Guard® is an in-channel, self cleaning fine screen which removes troublesome suspended solids from wastewater and/or process flows. With over 2,000 installations, the Aqua Guard moving media channel screen is custom built, reliable and offers extremely low maintenance for years of trouble free operation.

Aqua Guard® PF Perforated-Plate Media, Channel Screen

The Aqua Guard® PF Perforated-Plate screen is a self cleaning, in-channel fine screen that utilizes perforated plate media to automatically remove troublesome and suspended solids from wastewater and/or process flows. Built on the reliable Aqua Guard screen platform, this moving media screen is custom built, reliable and offers extremely low maintenance for years of trouble free operation.

Hycor® Helisieve® In-Channel Fine Screen Model HLS

The Heliseive® Fine Screen uses shaftless spiral technology with state of the art screening, conveying and dewatering in one cost efficient device. With over 400 installations, this self-cleaning, low maintenance equipment offers years of trouble free operation.

Rotating screens employ moving cylinders to separate liquids from solids.  These screens use sprays to keep them clean. Wedgewire screens use triangulated, wedged (cross section) shaped wires in their construction to reduce blinding.

Hycor® Hydroscreen Static Screen Model HS

The Hydroscreen Static Screen uses wedgewire to screen incoming wastewater and process flows for municipal or industrial applications. The screen comes in a variety of sizes for ease of installation and has no moving parts to maintain. With over 500 installations, it is simple and economical to operate. This unit is not self-cleaning.
Hycor® Rotostrainer® Externally-Fed Rotating Drum Screen

The Rotostrainer® is the original self-cleaning, externally-fed, rotating wedgewire drum screen with thousands of installations since the 1970’s. Applications include municipal and industrial wastewaters, as well as process waters. Multiple model choices make it easy to match to any application with screen openings in the 0.01”-0.10” (0.25-2.5 mm) range.

Hycor® Rotoshear® Internally-Fed Rotating Drum Screen

The Rotoshear® is an internally-fed rotating wedgewire drum screen with over 700 municipal and industrial wastewater, as well as process water installations. Multiple model choices make it easy to match to any application with screen openings in the 0.01”-0.10” (0.25-2.5 mm) range.

Hycor® Rotomesh Internally-Fed Rotating Drum Screen

The internally-fed Rotomesh drum screen uses 1-2 mm perforated openings to screen municipal and industrial wastewater, as well as process waters. It is constructed of the same materials and has the reliability of the decades old Rotoshear, so it will offer years of trouble free operation. It is ideal as a pre-membrane application, following a ¼ inch fine screen, like the Aqua Guard®.
All screens generate a solids stream that needs to be managed with either a washing and/or dewatering step.  This equipment is best added to a Parkson screen.

Hycor® Hypress® Ram-Style Dewatering Press

The Hypress® Ram-Style Dewatering Press compacts and conveys wet municipal screenings through an enclosed pipe and deposits solids into a dumpster for disposal. Hydraulically operated and with hundreds of installations, the Hypress dewaters solids to meet the paint filter test and is an efficient low maintenance device that offers years of trouble free operation.
Hycor® Helixpress® Shaftless Spiral Dewatering Press

The Helixpress® spiral press conveys and dewaters screenings to reduce weight and volume to lower hauling costs and meet the paint filter test. Different models are available with short or long conveying runs, and it can be fitted with single or multiple feed points. Developed in the early 1990’s, there are hundreds in operation.  Helixpress requires simple and low maintenance for operation.
Parkson products combined for greater functionality.

Complete Screening System

Parkson can combine screening (in-channel or wedgewire / rotating) with screenings conveying and washing/dewatering equipment to make a complete mini-system.  Single source responsibility avoids site “fit up” issues created when similar equipment comes from multiple suppliers. The photo example shows a Rotostrainer® wedgewire fine screen feeding a Helicon® conveyor, discharging to a solids dewatering press (not in view).
Hycor® Helisieve Plus® In-Tank Fine Screen Model HLSP

The Helisieve Plus® is a Helisieve Screen in a tank when a channel is not available.  It uses the same screening, conveying and dewatering of the standard Helisieve®.
BioGuard® Influent Cleaning System

The BioGuard® Influent Cleaning System combines an Aqua Guard® Fine Screen with a SpiralKlean® washer and RotoPress® dewatering screw press for a complete screening, screenings washing and dewatering system.  This system is ideal for channels three feet wide or less.
This pre-packed system is used for the pre-treatment of septage before loads are accepted into wastewater treatment plants.  Septage may contain high solids and grease loads that can harm plant operations.  Pre-treating septage with screening (and screenings dewatering) and optionally de-gritting is recommended to reduce shock loads to the process.

Hycor® Helisieve Plus®
Septage Receiving Station
Model HLSPSR

The Helisieve Plus® Septage Receiving Station is specially controlled to handle direct loads of septage from septage hauling trucks. The heart of the unit is the Helisieve shaftless spiral and its fine ¼” perforated openings which screen, convey and dewater rejected material from septage. The unit is available with a variety of optional control packages to make it more user friendly to the accepting wastewater treatment plant.
Hycor® Combi® Septage Pre-Treatment System

The Combi® system is a pre-engineered septage pre-treatment system incorporating fine screening, screening dewatering and grit removal. This system comes pre-packaged in a stainless steel tank so it can be placed on a concrete slab.  This complete solution includes controls for easy and user friendly operation.
Parkson regularly offers a complete pre-packaged headworks system which consists of screening, grit removal and solids handling.
