Parkson - Parkson Expands To Middle East

September 10, 2008 - Parkson Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Axel Johnson Inc, announced today the official inauguration of a new regional office to support its growing business in the Middle East and North Africa.

The new office, located in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates, will be officially inaugurated in October 2008. Parkson's past success in this growing region has prompted the decision to open a permanent office in Dubai complete with sales, applications engineering, and field service support capabilities.

In addition, Parkson also announced the receipt of its first purchase order since the establishment of its new office in July of this year. In August 2008, Parkson received an order for Saudi ARAMCO in Dharan, Kingdom Saudi Arabia, where Parkson's solutions will be treating domestic wastewater.

Parkson Middle East will be responsible for all countries in Middle East and Northern Africa, offering a wide range of superior, cost-effective components and systems for water and wastewater treatment. Some of Parkson's most successful products, in screening, biological treatment, secondary and tertiary treatment and biosolids reduction/minimization will be marketed through this office.

Zain Mahmood, President and CEO of Parkson, will be present at the official inauguration of the Parkson ME office on October 9, 2008 as well as Sean D'Silva, International Vice President of Parkson, and Tony Collins, General Manager of Parkson ME.
