Parkson Honored at World Dairy Expo

October 30, 2009 - Parkson was honored, recently, by being awarded the "Best Booth Award" in the small booth category at the World Dairy Expo. This is an important honor because of the size and scope of this internationally renowned event.

At the show, Parkson presented information on its extensive line of technologies for the dairy and cheese industry, including specialized drum filters that are ideal of concentrating whey solids and other industry applications. This includes the Hycor® Rotoshear® Heavy Duty screen as well as the Hycor Rotomesh Fine Screen. In addition, Parkson provides the advanced Biolac® Wastewater System for treatment of the waste stream to reduce biological oxygen demand (BOD) and the DynaSand D2® Advanced Filtration System to remove nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorous from the treated effluent. These systems are designed to keep the dairy and cheese industry in a profitable position, while supporting the efforts of the industry to protect world's water resources.
