Parkson has several solutions for the agricultural industry.

Manure Sand Recovery
Our solutions for dairy farms to manage their sand recovery from dairy manure enable higher productivity at the farm. Our systems can use up to 100% recycled water with very little operator attention. Evaluate this system to drive your sand costs down, improve your herd health and get premium on your milk sales.

Digester Grit Removal
Recently, digesters based on biodegradable waste are gaining popularity in the United States. Digesters based on manure, with economic and tax incentives, supplement farmers’ income and are a source of green energy. However, grit and sand from the manure clog the tanks and methane gas production is severely affected. Our grit and sand removal system can solve this problem for you.

Nutrient Management
EPA has announced regulations (EPA CAFO guidelines) that limit the phosphorus and nitrogen discharges on CAFOs. Nutrient management plans need to be publically discussed and limits in permits will be enforceable. Parkson has several nutrient removal solutions (Biolac® System, DynaSand D2® Advanced Filtration System). Contact us for more information about nutrient management at your farm.

Solar Sludge Drying
The THERMO-SYSTEM® Solar Dryer dries dairy sludge into a biologically stable product to increase disposal options. This energy-efficient system is designed to accept liquid, thickened or dewatered sludge and dry them up to 90% solids. In addition to dairy sludge, the THERMO-SYSTEM Solar Dryer can also be used to dry fruits (e.g. raisins) and nuts. Dry biological waste can be used for composting, and producing organic fertilizer. Its ecologic and economic benefits simplify acceptance by authorities and the public. With the boom in green technology investments, consider this technology for your drying needs.
