Parkson Making Strides Towards Global Expansion and Efficiency
FORT LAUDERDALE FL - January 19, 2010 - Over the past two years, Parkson Corporation has made significant progress in India in an effort expand global operations and increase productivity. The Parkson office, located in Pune, India, consists of highly skilled mechanical, civil and electrical engineers with backgrounds across multiple manufacturing segments. What began with four people in 2008 has rapidly grown to ten full time employees in 2009.

"We now have a virtual 24-hour engineering team with the added benefit of enhanced modeling and design capabilities."

The Parkson India office has two primary functions which include value engineering and sales support. The office has proven to be an invaluable resource and serves as an added tool in serving customer needs. The time difference between North America and India allows work to be processed during all hours of the day, providing faster support and more efficient outcomes. India's proximity to the Middle East has enabled the company's Dubai office to offload some of its project-related workload and improve response times.
