Water Research Facility - Lab Testing
Short Description
The WRF laboratory analyzes raw water and wastewater samples in order to characterize constituents which dictate treatment needs. The lab follows testing procedures as detailed in Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater.

The Water Research Facility (WRF) conducts raw water and wastewater treatment analysis. We analyze the samples in order to characterize constituents which dictate treatment needs. The lab follows testing procedures as detailed in “Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater.”  The WRF laboratory can run the following analytical tests:

  • Chemical oxygen demand
  • Total suspended solids
  • Total dissolved solids
  • Conductivity
  • Turbidity
  • pH
  • Alkalinity
  • Total phosphorus
  • Ortho-phosphate
  • Iron
  • Volatile suspended solids
  • Fixed suspended solids
  • Specific gravity
  • Filter sand sieve analysis

The laboratory also conducts bench scale tests to confirm preliminary sizing of a wide variety of Parkson products and processes including:
