Parkson announces new CEO
Parkson Corporation, a leading provider of advanced solutions in water and wastewater treatment, has just appointed Shamus M. Hurley as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Hurley, who served for the last five years as CEO of Kinetico – a leading manufacturer of residential and commercial water treatment systems – replaces Zain Mahmood.

Mr. Mahmood steps down as Parkson’s CEO after five years. Under his leadership, Parkson has expanded operations into new regions of the world, such as Korea, Israel, Australia, and the Middle East. He was also responsible for renewing and relaunching a series of products such as Parkson’s best selling screen Aqua Guard®, its inclined plate settler Lamella® EcoFlow™, and its continuous backwashing filter DynaSand® EcoWash™.
Both Kinetico and Parkson are members of Axel Johnson Inc.’s AxWater Group which was formed in 2006 to pursue the Johnson Family’s commitment to bringing clean, safe water to individuals and communities worldwide.
